One disappointing thing that I just learned about the wiki.module: Wiki formatting is not currently being applied to any node when it is displayed on the front page or as part of a taxonomy list. (Is there a parameter needed to get this to work, or something like that?)
Anyway, until that is resolved, we should avoid having pages with Wiki formatting on the front page or part of any taxonomy. Aldon
