from reading the pdf and the disc on the list I still have no clue onto what is in the head of Nico. To me it looks like he grabs the features wanted and is saying "this is a framework" if so it looks like implementing
the jsr-170 is a better idea. Wha't the story with the porlets and why
does in belong in a framework?
The pdf has 2 important chapters (3 and 4).
Chapter 3 describes what a CMS should contain and introduces a way of site management. The chapter does not mention anything about which implememtation techniques should be used. This is the CMS container idea.
Chapter 4 describes how we think an implementation of this CMS container idea can be created from source code which is already laying around. This implementation is not a framework (yet). Future iterations might create an implementation where parts can be replaced by others.
The implementation might be a way to get to a jsr-170 compliant jcr. We have to start somewhere and existing code is good enough for me.
