It is indead a 'not-enough-rights'-thing, but I noticed that Imagemagick tries to store the tmp-files in  arbitrary(?) dirs. This dir is sometimes even different without a restart of MMBase.

Do I have to set the tmp-dir for ImageMagick, If so, how?

It could be a 'not-enough-rights'-thing. Imagemagick uses tmp files it
must store somewhere, iirc.
