Hi,

The releaseteam has had a meeting today in which it discussed the things that must be done before the release can be made.

There are a few things that need to be done before a branch can be created, because it would have been a lot of work to port these changes to cvs-head also. That's why we've decided to extend the freeze with another week (max).

A few of the changes that will be made are:

- scripts dir will be removed
- all builders have to be moved into some application
- modules have to be reviewed which can be turned of and which can't be turned of.
- build.xml has to be changed to reflect the above changes

So it can be possible cvs will be broken now and then the next couple of days, but in the end we'll have a much better release.

Gerard
