The first and foremost obstacle to creation/maintenance of a database support class seems to be their common interface MMJdbc2NodeInterface is entirely undocumented. Lacking this, there is little hope for new support classes to appear. Is anyone planning to work on this - Cleaning perhaps? If not, I think it should be given more priority, as lack of support for the majority of database vendors (particularly Oracle, SQLServer and DB2) is a major obstacle to raising interest in MMBase as a solution in many cases. You really can't expect a company to install another database just because MMBase does not support the database they already have.
