Dear MMBase developers, <snip> bugs that exist since the begining of MMBase are not called bugs but features </snip>
These kind of answers are not doing the MMBase community any good. It is a serious flaw in the design of the code and should be handled properly. A non-professional answer like this doesn't give the people at Vodafone a good impression. I know you all want the best for MMBase. At Vodafone we are working hard for a project using Weblogic, Oracle and MMBase. We solved a lot of issues for oracle and weblogic support. The application will go into production soon. The deadlock Nico talks about prevented us to go into production this week. This is serious business, since the application is supposed to earn money for Vodafone. What I mean to say here is that your reaction is inmature and not appropriate. I still consider this as a bug and the new code implementation is probably not going to solve this bug. So please handle it like one. Best Regards, Richard den Adel Java Architect Vodafone, The Netherlands.
