Something goes wrong with encodings now (at least in orion). See for example the 'codings' example. It can now only include apges with iso-8859-1 encoded content. So, if the base-page (with the mm:include) is encoded in UTF-8, and the page being included is also in UTF-8, the non-ascii-character are garbaged.
