I'm referring to version/maintainer of the *application*. These are checked
right now, and they should be.
I'll add the attributes to the dtd and add checks and stuff.
I can fathom though that you do not always want to make maintainer mandatory, so I am inclined to make it optional.
This allows you to modify an existing application and still install an app that requires the 'old' one.
I also wonder how to check on version: do we do an exact match and fail if the application available is a newer version?
I will also add a 'type' attribute (with implied value 'application'), so we can later extend the requirements section with other required objects such as builders, modules, or utility classes.
