First I had a customized installation where inheritance was not working. I swapped to the binary distribution. I changed the jdbc.xml to my database. Added the 2 builders for inheritance and ran tomcat. Inheritance did not work. Stopped tomcat, replaced the driver jar, ran tomcat again. Inheritance worked. Nico
