Btw, I think you expect my remark, 'author' would perhaps be better of as a relation to a person.
Of course. That's true when you 'know' the author of a news article, then you can relate various articles to the same person. But not when you use news to create for example a guestbook: the authors would almost always be as unique as their scribbles in your guestbook.
