In that case the installation instructions should clearly mention that
an XML parser and XSL processor are required. They must be installed
individually if they are not already present in the environment where
MMBase is started. 
They usually are present when MMBase is running as a webapp in a
servlet-container, but not when MMBase is started as a standalone
application.

I suggest we do not ship the drivers, for the same reason we don't ship
xerces and xalan. It's up to the enduser to decide which drivers to
install.
