No, only if you want to use some more obscure ways to create or modify a SearchQuery
then you'd perhaps want to use a utils. Taglib will do it on some spots
because it has attributes like 'path="news,urls"' etc.

See also my post about the new Query object in bridge of a few weeks ago. I

Yes, but RMMCI also implements bridge, IRC.

Yes, I imagine core2 as a kind of securityless bridge. It's only an idea..
