Asking for more info may be reason to -1, but to VETO you need to supply a proper reason why this change would be _unacceptable_.
You probably have one so please provide it in clear terms.
I have not yet seen an explanation other than "I don't understand this change", which not enough reason for a VETO.
Btw if a vote get's a veto (with good reason), that should not suddenly be a reason to not call votes anymore. The fact that someone can give a VETO is _exactly_ the reason why votes are necessary, and why I (yes, you can blame me) asked for a vote on this matter.
Personally I am in favor of moving all the email code to one application. However, dependent modules/classes show that this may pose pronblems unless we either move these calsses too (provabably too involving or illogical), or we keep the Interface, or part of the Interface (rather than the various implementations), core.
This is not ideal, and we will likely need to change it again, causing TWO conversions rather than one, but probably this is what we need to do now.
We DO need to solve this properly in a future release.
