well, somehow robin and I here remember mister vermeulen (there are way too much rob's 
here by the way ;-) talking about specific mmtaglib tags designed for this. we can do 
it in a few other ways ofcourse (and yours might be the easiest btw, thanks) but we're 
frustrated that we don't remember what it was exactly ;-) ah well, we'll ask him when 
he's back.
 
and my apologies for the somewhat (cough) vague question ;)

        I'm only guessing, but perhaps he was referring to the Java Standard Tag 
        Library (JSTL) instead of the MMBase taglib. 
        The JSTL forEach tag may be just what you're looking for.
