Hi there,
NSCA‑ng already offers the following features:
* Security
* Performance
* Extensibility
* Portability
I would love to see the following feature in NSCA-ng client:
https://www.nsca-ng.org/documentation/todo.html
* Fault Tolerance
If the NSCA-ng server is not available, NSCA-ng client should
queue commands and results in a local storage and submit them
to NSCA-ng server as soon as the network comes up again.
The NRD [2] tool seems to support such a buffering with the following
option: "alternate_dump_file /tmp/nrd.dump", but there is not much
development activity in this project, so I have high hope for
such a feature in NSCA-ng.
Would you consider this feature to be useful/feasible?
Regards
Daniel
