I have a situation and appreciate feedback from anyone.
Client is selling huge machines, which is recorded as 1 item with its individual serial number.
There will be cases where cannibalisation will be performed, ie. some parts from one item (1 serial number) may be exchanged woth other parts from other units (another serial number).
The outcome is that both machines' cost will change.
Serial # 123456 exchange a part with serial # 987654
Outcome: Serial # 123456 cost's changes from 1000 to 1100 and Serial # 987654 cost's change from 1500 to 1400
How can this be handled in Axapta?
