this is because of a bug in manufacturing.
all quantities in manufacturing are rounded off to 4 decimal places and if your rounding is more than 4 then this error is thrown while posting.
change the 1. check and 2. setSplitAmount method in class InventSplitTrans_Remain
in both the methods
change the _splitQty to DecRound(_splitQty,InventAdj::SettleQtyDec())

Could somebody let me know what causes this error " You may not split more than is financially open". When this happens we unable to post whatever the item is. For instance, currently I would like to change the status of a production to created and it is giving me the above error and thus not changing the status.
