Try looking either at the Form design or data source field for a lookup method – if you find this you can remove it with /* and */ around the code!
Otherwise you can choose overwrite method / lookup on the field (preferably on the data source). Here you can just remove the line super(); with 2 oblique stokes
i.e. // super();.

How can I disable the search function when typing in a field of a
custom lookupform?
I want to disable this function because the table connected to this
lookupform is very large and this search on typing function take a
lot of time before the record is found.
