I have made a modification that enables me to turn off updating of InventSum when the item is a service (ItemType = Service). To accomplish this I have modified the insert, update and delete-methods for InventTrans. Is this a good idea, or will it cause problems? As far as I can see, everything works fine. Costprices are not used in this Axapta-installation.
Most of the items in our customer's database are services, and I am testing this out as an alternative to using IMTS (Inventory Multi-transaction System).
