Axapta handles all logic through the application i.e there are no stored proc’s

It is however possible to access stored proc’s through Axapta Code

I work for a company that might be moving to Axapta, we be working
on developing a module with one of Microsoft partners. This
application must be able to respond in a mater of 100's of
milliseconds and pull data from main different place in a real time
environment.

When we currently build application like this internal we try and
put as much logic, data control & data manipulation into the
database then the application. We general find it easier to manager
and get huge performances benefit where normal front/back end
application not turned to handle this type of functions. So when the
application calls the stored procedures 9 out of 10 times the
application just shows the data that the stored procedures has sent
it.

We just like to get a feel for people who work in Axapta day in day
out how much of their logic & data manipulation they put SQL stored
procedures compared to in Axapta. Are they management issues doing
this? Does it affect the way in which you manager your Axapta
upgrades? Any comments about this or comment about building fast
Axapta applications.

Thanks
