May be you could import the transactions directly and post but I had
tried in a few times and kept getting errors.
When I see the "LedgerjournalTransDaily" table, I see that there is one more
table in the datasource "CustVendPaymJournalFee" . I don't know exactly what
is saved in this table because when I checked it through the table browser
it shows empty.
When I check the way the line is created manually the system
uses the LedgerJournalEngine (class) to check and calculate the data for the
LedgerJournalTrans table. I remember I had used the same way to populate the
table.
If we can successfully post after importing the lines then it would be
the best thing.

I had done a large amount of transactions directly imported to the jounal
lines and yep.. there was some errors on the validations. That I got through
which I had explained on my previous mails (Ax Know Village Group). The GJ
lines import from an excel sheet works fine from my experiance. I had done
this for 4-5 go-lives and I never had a problem after that.
Could you please share which all other tables are populated when you enter a
line in General Journal Lines ????

When I had got our client's GL data migration I had got the journal
created manually and the lines using a data import function on the lines
form.
In this function the code was written similar to the way the lines get
created when created manually.
The standard import functions (using excel) of axapta works correctly only
in some standard tables where no multiple tables are updated.

I'm in the midst of doing GL data migration using Axapta Excel Template
(LedgerJournalTable and LedgerJournalTrans). After I loaded the GL Opening
Balances into General Journal and tried to do the posting. An error message
threw out and stopped me from posting (see attached).
