You need a windows account (which also should be part of the OLAP Admin
group)

Hi,
I've set up OLAP in an Axapta application, and everything works fine
in 2-layer.
Most users are on 3-layer, and there I get the error:
The method 'Connect' in the COM-object in the class '{B492C386-0195-
11D2-89BA-00C04FB9898D}' returned the error code 0x80040031
(<unknown>), which means: Unable to connect to the registry on the
server or you are not a member of the OLAP Administrators group on
this server.
I've installed the client tools of the Analysis Services on the AOS-
server, and can access the cubes through the Analysis manager. All
users are in the OLAP administrators group, but still I get the
error.
Any ideas why I get this error?
