Hi Febin, 1) when u import address form from VAR to USR (using xpo of address form taken from usr) it will overwrite the address form in VAR. The complete form will be now become a VAR object. This means that the highest layer (with respect to ur login) in which the form lives is VAR. Otherwise the modifications that were present only in the then highest layer (USR layer) is now in VAR.
2) Yes it is possible to import an object from another layer, by importing the xpo taken from that layer. But you should have the licence to enter both layers. 3) How? Create XPO of the object from layer A. Now login to Layer B, by giving the licence code of layer B, in client configuration utility. Import the XPO once you are in B. 4) No. But the case of form is bit different when compared to other objects. Objects like Table can live in different layers. But a form can live only in a single layer. ie, a single table can reside in different layers, each layer holding seperate portions of it. But a form cannot be accommodated partially in a layer. Either full , or NIL. hope this resolves ur issue.... regds, Sailendran Rajan febinpc <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: hi, Import of an address form from USR layer ->VAR layer what will happen? is it possible to import one object from one layer to other ? if so how? is it dependable on layers[ie from high(var) to low(usr) layer or low to high] regards febin __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
