I mean sometimes duplicates exists for political reasons, like people making fork of another software. May be because of coding standards, may be because maintainer is a jerk, may be because performance and scalability is not the same, may be because roadmap is not the same. There is hundreds of valid reasons for which duplicates can exists. I don't say this is good, but this is no bad neither. The only bad thing if for end user, because it confuses him. Pierre.
