How many tickets are open on the fact if something works/doesn't work when
(not) using a (powered) usb hub on a fonera?

Eg in this case using a (non) powered usb hub gives us no recognition of the
attached device...
perhaps this also translates to -> printer, 3G stick, audio stick, webcam ?

I'll try to check on the fowsr  hardware list test Tuesday evening.

Ok, so this would mean your weather station has a vidpid of 0x1130 / 0x6801.
Previously, I looked in the fowsr sources and found:

This would mean that the USB weather station reader you have now, is simply
not supported by fowsr...

In case that the hardware is really the same, but advertises different
vidpids (sometimes happens when hardware is rebranded), you could try to
change the vidpid in the fowsr sources and compile that...
