As I understand, they will keep working as usual, except the friends' logins and the money they would send to some "Bill" guys won't be sent anymore.
Fonera 2.0n isn't sold anymore for a while - not that it matters; its hardware is completely obsolete by now. I'll keep my six foneras running as they always were, and I'll surely miss the money that got in from time to time (and that helped paying my internet bills). When they break, I'll figure something out.
