As much as possible we would like to fix any regressions that we find in 5.0 compared to 4.8, so that migration of existing applications to 5.0 is is easy as possible. I don't see a need for the overhead of a second bug report. Better to just make the title of the existing report reflect the real problem and not just the first symptom that was noticed.
