Ok, a bit about myself: I came to Qt via KDE/KMail. I was annoyed by the lack of flexibility of the filter dialog in KMail and my first contribution was to make it more like the one Netscape Mailer had, back then. That was 2002-ish. If you want to have a good laugh at your's truly, have a look there, some code probably survives to this day. Before that, I had done some work on documenting the crypto parts of the Linux kernel in the Linux Encryption HOWTO (I even have shared copyright of the kernel, though all I ever contributed was a crypto algorithm ported over from GnuPG, and that code probably is long gone). In late 2003, I was hired by KDAB where I still am. I contributed less to KDE from then on. Many Trolls might remember me from the three years I was in Oslo for a Trolltech customer, that was 2004-2007. I miss grill parties in the snow and listening to young Opera singers at Underwater pub :) Recently I've been trying to specialise in C++11 and Multithreading. I also liked working with Boost (buh!), though I dropped out around 1.35 and haven't had the time to come up to speed again. As anyone who's gotten a review from me can attest, I try to be hard bargain (probably comes from the attack thinking I attained when doing the crypto stuff), but you're free to pay me back :) My bible is http://www.gotw.ca/publications/c++cs.htm, in case you'd like to prepare :) Outside C++/Qt, I'm (in)famous for my Sushi appetite and insisting on quality food, of which I sadly eat too much. Having passed through Oslo and Berlin, I currently live near Frankfurt/Main with my wife.
