As pointed out on IRC: it's unacceptable that this release happened without a formal GO/NO-GO in the releasing mailing list and in the #qt-releases channel. There are people testing packages today, right now. We might be missing the Release Manager, recognised by the Qt Project, who makes the call and ensures that everyone's opinions are collected. But that doesn't give someone else the right to release. It simply makes a release impossible. Now the deed is done and let's move on. But let's make sure it never happens again. -- Thiago Macieira - thiago.macieira (AT) intel.com Software Architect - Intel Open Source Technology Center Intel Sweden AB - Registration Number: 556189-6027 Knarrarnäsgatan 15, 164 40 Kista, Stockholm, Sweden
