No, they shouldn't, not now anyway. If your style work is successful and looks good, then we can say that people should use the widgets. But right now, they definitely should stay away from them! Applications will default to the Fusion style, which is very touch- unfriendly. In any case, we've been trying this for 4 years. QWidgets simply don't work on mobile environments. It was hard enough on platforms that we could reasonably control (the three Nokia platforms). It will be that much more difficult on a platform where we have *no* say in how things behave, has extremely picky users and an arbitrary review before being allowed. > What we really need a new styling system that can act as a backend > for both QStyle/widgets and QML.
