Investigating bug QTBUG-64401, I discover qdatetimeparser_p.h defining #define QDATETIMEEDIT_DATE_MAX QDate(7999, 12, 31)
which dates back to the original import of qtbase by Nokia (albeit John Layt moved it from qdatetime_p.h in 2013).
