we are still have problems to make dfu-util work on MacOS X and you
might be experienced in this area and might provide the right hint
where to look at.
One more observation:

* devnum=0 and not 16

Is this a hint for someone who knows details about the flasher
protocols?

Have you tried 'sudo dfu-util' instead of just 'dfu-util'?
