this is my favorite way.  got this from someone (can't remember who) on irc:
cat `find /sys/ | grep battvolt`
the output is in millivolts.  ~4224 millivolts is completely charged

        Hi! I think I'm having the same thing - I left my Neo ON for
        night and
        in the morning it was down and  I could not wake it. This page
