I use 2.6.22.5-moko11-r1-fic-gta01 from http://buildhost.automated.it/OM2007.2/?M=D and a sunrise SIM bought half a year ago. It worked for me with all kernels i tried so far, therefore i guess the problem with your SIM also is because of the TI modem firmware. Regards, Lukas
