The reason is that OpenMoko uses a bitbake fetcher feature through PREMIRRORS which will try and fetch all sources from OpenMoko's download server first, before trying to fetch them from the original/upstream source. This is to try and be a good neighbour and reduce the load on the upstream servers. If the sources can not be found on downloads.openmoko.org (which is common for new packages or new versions of packages, especially with svn) it will just fall back and get them from the original source. E.g. in your log at line 513 it's trying to fetch a tarball of revision 665 of the jana sources. Because that revision had not yet been uploaded to the openmoko server, bitbake falls back to checking it out from svn directly, line 554. -- Henryk Plötz Grüße aus Berlin ~ Help Microsoft fight software piracy: Give Linux to a friend today! ~
