OK, good to know! After fiddling around for few minutes the MTDs came back and I thought it was of the 'Factory reset' I did in the meantime. Nevertheless I managed (with Werners help: http://lists.openmoko.org/pipermail/openmoko-uboot/2008-January/000178.html) to renew the Splash screen and now my Neo looks at boot time as good as before :-) Thank you very much!
