I'm not ragging on you by asking this: I spent my money on a 1973 and if that promise was made, I damn well want it stuck to. That said, where was such promise made? Do you have a mailing list post from someone able to speak for Openmoko? Did Sean Moss-Pultz make that announcement in a press release? As far as I know, Openmoko has never claimed they would support the software on the 1973 for a given period of time.
