gat02, 2007.2: led?

hi,
i surfed the archive but did not find anything definite regarding the leds.
should they do something? flashing when charging, networking, whatever?
mine are silent all the time, though dmesg shows
Registered led device: gta02-power:orange
Registered led device: gta02-power:blue
Registered led device: gta02-aux:red

and someone on community mentions the aux led flashing red while charging  
with qtopia.
