Adding a current variant attribute to the <link rel="alternate" .../> elements
that BrowserMap uses for client forwarding would help in directly identifying
the initial requested variant; this can be of use for DMAP-33, where
information about the current variant has to be extracted and processed.
The attribute should be named "data-bmap-currentvar". Its value should be
"true". It should be present on only one variant and it should be generated
server-side.
