Contributions :

In this system -- to be implemented -- 'my' contributors would be the
Apache DeviceMap contributors.

Ideally after OpenDDR contributes their resources, if and where needed
this system would generate the dmap token data based on the
contributors' edits.
The result would end-up in the DeviceMap repository for which it is
intended.

It seems to me only Reza and myself currently know when an OpenDDR
'token' requires changes and what those changes should be.
One of the things the UI does is show whether the OpenDDR token works
for DeviceMap and it also tests the replacement users provide.

The more relevant user-agent the system disposes of, the more accurate
it will be, so please : we need more user-agent strings !

Basically, it would all be 'internal' and exclusive DeviceMap stuff,
hosted while/until/if a similar infrastructure emerges, at which time,
if needed -- the data would already be in the Apache repository --
anything meaningful from the hosted system would be
transferred/contributed, all while making sure the hosted system in no
way runs foul of the Apache rules (it would not be visible to Joe and
Joanne Public anyway).

I propose this because with the exception of access-control and 'cool'
UI, all this is ready for 'immediate' use and would help to get things
going.
If Java and one of it's web-frameworks were in my comfort-zone [or if
there were a .Net server available for me to noodle around], I'd
obviously do it on Apache turf :-)

It seems to me that DeviceMap's viability depends on its data
resources and it should thus strive to control these as much as
possible so they can be shared and maintained as openly as possible.

PS : user-agent strings needed !
