Btw. it may be a bit short notice (2 weeks from tomorrow) but as DeviceMap
and OpenDDR are quite related to the "Open Data" idea and movement, if any
of you live in a city that host an Open Data Day hackathon or consider
running one yourself (I know it is a Sat and many of you may have mandatory
family duties, on the other hand for freelancers and other busy
professionals that is like a "BarCamp" or similar event often using part of
a weekend, including JavaOne week[?]) http://opendataday.org

I plan to attend at least one in a nearby German city or even host
something in Stuttgart (if the local JUG would help to support it) myself.
