As this is a Java conference I plan to show code where time permits it in
action, I can't be sure the Web or Wifi connection works, so all needs to
be on my machine.
The sample code from the Miri site has no relation or import of the
 DevicMap APIs or seems to use its resources.

So especially for a Java EE related talk I could not find important  leads
there[?]

Maybe I'll add something under "Summary" mentioning relateed initiatives,
but the sample code does not seem Java EE related I'm afraid.
