Classifier, no. Classify speed does not change with or without these devices in 
there.

Resources, yes, these devices take up bandwidth, memory, and have to be parsed. 
So I would tag these for cleanup.

Hi,

I noticed that the 'generic' devices in the attached file have no
'children', meaning there are no devices who have them as parent device.

We are talking about 51 'generic' devices out of 95 [if you count
"generic-"] with 3,582 properties.
I'm all for keeping them in the 'database', obviously, but do they
have to burden the classifier and the XML resources ?
The remaining 44 generics look 'sane' [no doubles].
