ya... I thought I did a publish the first time but maybe I didnt stage the change. I published again and it instantly showed up.

It's not a delay, you have to explicitly publish the staged content via https://cms.apache.org/devicemap/ - "publish devicemap site" menu. That happens quickly then, usually within a minute. You can see the diffs when you do that so you know exactly what's being changed. -Bertrand
