Ya, I already have OS information in the device. It just needs to be communicated that this is the default/fallback OS. Actual OS classification may differ. So maybe we provide a convenience method that checks for a proper OS and then does a fallback to device default OS. It may be confusing to the user how to navigate these different attributes, especially if they are broken into separate domains/aspects. This goes for most attributes :)
So if anyone reading this can provide high traffic log feeds or can coordinate that, please speak up! ________________________________ From: eberhard speer jr. <[email protected]> To: "'[email protected]'" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, August 29, 2014 11:56 AM Subject: Re : Data -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, oopsie : got ahead of myself there : IF the OS info is significant etc AND the 'version' is added to the DDR etc : in most cases the difference between 'method 2' and 'method 3' would be impossible to tell. friday... esjr -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (MingW32) iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJUAKK+AAoJEOxywXcFLKYcCgIH/2xqOFwiF3sKpb3Zq32uwyH1 T6dLFMxkqzjzXBct2Mi14c8GxJQsdMXe1UWaa/6AxtcHQz0xP3ND/iBr94Wm//MN 851uKwpaVQexfyRtz4csiuEKrCV+V4bYa6SijiMTSn6oQWwvLdvtU/PbiNZc4g9k 43pZ8Z+vkHGoIQeEXWj60sbc20lOMm35HZBcCY3N382NXK3PjUqkCDwIgwctDYjs 18b3To/xL5ed3L7uUgs/Q0OUk9Dx7zWSZqCTi98x0dEvmGA4Yi5jp7igPWNfQva1 pJ1M9Igb7i3iMrc8ETvLZv4ZK4jXcQ8onTHxayx0D69nbD79AmU0XgY6befpBcs= =GTnM -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
