We'll come across that more often. Both at ApacheCon Europe and soon after in Hamburg at MDC kompakt I mentioned, that for some vendors there should be a "Generic vendor X" while others may fall back to Android etc. Apple is pretty much the only case where OS, Browser and device are by just one vendor all the time [?]
In fact, fellow speakers at MDC kompakt emphasized Samsung's plans to use Tizen on almost every device (also see http://www.cnet.com/news/samsung-co-ceo-we-want-tizen-to-be-on-everything/) while market reality so far speaks more in an Android direction.
