I recently implimented a firewall set of ipchain rules onto my e-smith box.
The problem is, that with the firewall enabled, I cannot connect to any
web site for which the ip has to be looked up. In fact name name lookups
are possible. I get the following errors when trying to connect to a website:
named[617]: ns_forw: send([198.41.3.101].53): Operation not permitted.
named[617]: sysquery: sendto([198.41.0.5].53): Operation not permitted.
Can anony give me a hint as to where I'm going wrong?
