There is a bundle of squid documentation available to you.
rpm -qd squid
will list all the documentation bundled with your server - you'll notice
that there is an FAQ in html format bundled.
rpm -qc squid
will show you where squid config files are to be found. You'll notice
there that the main squid configuration file is /etc/squid/squid.conf, and
you'll find the squid log files referenced there.
