I just now used a beta2 boot floppy and the beta3 cd installed just
fine. I have to use a boot floppy because my bios wont boot from cd. When
I use a B3 boot floppy it seems that it can't mount my IDE cd-rom
properly.

After I typed in proceed it put in the redhat partition screen. I did a
alt to the othe console window and wrote down what I found here:

Kickstart file copied to /tmp/ks.cfg
it then probes buses and finds nothing
Kickstarting through device hdc
it then tries to mount hdc
loopfd is 6
spawns shell
probes busses again
finds ethernet cards and the type of card they are
just probe is 0
going to insmod 3c59x.o (path is NULL)
going to insmod raid0.o (path is NULL)
going to insmod raid1.o (path is NULL)
going to insmod raid5.o (path is NULL)
going to insmod ext3.o (path is NULL)
looks for USB mouse
no IDE floppy device found
cdrom error Unable to mount hdc
cdrom error Unable to mount hdc

I hope this helps you.

Thanks

P-K
