here's a new rpm it copies a image to a viewable area of the web server, ie you place a link to the image to check if the link is up or not setup by ip-up.local (and ip-down.local) ftp://ftp.e-smith.com/pub/e-smith/contrib/RPMindex/RPMS/noarch/e-smith-linkstatus-0.1-1.noarch.html
